JUST ONE Tree is a young, yet already award winning, non-profit organisation. We’re tackling the dual crises of climate change and biodiversity loss through global reforestation. We make it simple for everyone to get involved because JUST £1 plants 1 Tree.

We are unique as we don’t just plant trees. We focus on restoring the entire eco-system in the oceans as well as on land, and we educate the next generation of environmental guardians.

THE ROLE:

Working alongside our founder Amanda and other team members, you’ll be right at the heart of the action, working on the finer details that keep the ship running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who is fanatical about detail, amazingly organised and efficient, and who is keen to be part of a small, friendly and passionate team.

This is a part-time role, for approximately 4-7 hours a week (a little every day), with the opportunity to scale up in both responsibilities and hours as our organisation grows.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE:

Logging all incoming donations, sending receipts and thank you emails
Sending donation reminders
Raising invoices
Account handling and interaction with clients
Tracking fundraising pages and donations
Creating certificates and gift sets
Helping to improve processes to create a well-oiled machine
Co-ordinating JUST ONE Tree events and meet ups
Co-ordinating blog and newsletter timelines and deliveries
Working with mailchimp on customer data and uploading our newsletter.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE:

Enthusiastic and light hearted – we thrive on having a great bunch of people on our team, all working together for a better future.
Dedicated – we want someone to be a long-term part of the team and grow with us as we scale up.
Able to work remotely
Have your own computer
Fluent in English
Fanatical about detail
Organised
Enjoy data entry
Proficient with standard software eg. Microsoft Word, Excel, Google docs
Familiar with a database, ideally Salesforce, or confident in picking up how ours works.

Basic hourly rate with end of year bonus, equivalent to c. £22,000 - £25,500 if it were a full time position

Come be a key part of this team, blending attention to detail and an eye for the data with good people skills to manage client donations and the odd bit of solutions finding.

There is also the opportunity to grow the role and help build the operations side of JUST ONE Tree, should that be of interest (but it’s not a necessity).
