In June 2019 JUST ONE Tree began with one person's drive and passion.
We grew. We built a network of schools and organisations, became a global community, raised money, conducted research, built a network of partners and planted trees.

Fuelled by the belief that JUST ONE Individual can make a difference, especially when we individuals join together, today we are a global team giving up our time to create a brighter future for the planet, and for us all. We are planting trees.

Amanda Bronkhorst
Founder (and JUST ONE Individual) 

After 20 years as a Freelance Producer in the world of TV Commercials Production, Amanda created JUST ONE Tree to help restore the planet for future generations.

​When away from the JUST ONE Tree helm, Amanda can be found riding her horse, dreaming of carving down snowy mountains or diving in the oceans......and working out how best to make the world a better place.

Ellie is a force to be reckoned with.
​She is our school's campaigner, copywriter. composer and cohort.
By day she’s a BAFTA winning composer and by night, she’s working tirelessly to save the world. 

KATHRYN COOK

COMMS & ENGAGEMENT
​EXPERT

Kathryn currently works for the VCS Emergencies Partnership, supporting the charity sector to respond effectively to disasters. Outside of this she volunteers for JUST ONE Tree. When she’s not giving up all her time for the greater good, you can find her swimming in open waters, scuba diving in the seas, exploring her local London parks, cuddling her cat and eating cake to fuel more outdoor adventures.

ARTHUR PARRY

CHIEF REGENERATION
​OFFICER

Arthur is our point of contact with the U.N., assists in identifying new reforestation and restoration partners, and helps assess the 'purpose' and sustainability credentials of the organisations for whom we plant trees. When he’s not saving the planet with us he’s off helping businesses to develop Sustainability Strategies and Plans,
or exploring new and varied ways of getting up and down the French Alps
​near where he lives.

FLO SHORE

GROWTH MANAGER

With a background of working in the 3rd sector for the likes of Guide Dogs for The Blind and Cancer Research UK, we're lucky to have Flo as our Growth Manager.
​Flo scopes out new opportunities and brand partnerships to accelerate our progress and take us to new heights. When she's not helping us save the planet, she's out exploring with her young daughter, walking her dog round the forests and waterways of the UK, and thinking of new ways to tread as lightly on the planet as possible.

BEA WASHIDA

HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS

Bea looks after our corporate partnerships and is often the first point of contact for businesses curious about supporting JUST ONE Tree. A previous career in wine sales has equipped her well for our account management and she loves looking after our corporate donors.
​As well as saving the world, Bea enjoys running, cycling - and wine!

ANTHONY SCHNEIDER

GROWTH MASTER​

Anthony has built and sold two successful companies and published three books. As a consultant and technology provider, he has worked for nonprofits from South Africa to South Harlem.
​At JUST ONE Tree, he focuses on internal and international growth, tech and writing. Based out of New York and London, he loves places with green trees and warm seas. He is a devoted dad, terrible gardener, tennis addict, and music lover. 

FIONA CLEMENTS

HEAD OF OPERATIONS & MISSION SUPPORT

After a long career in corporate leadership, Fiona joined JUST ONE Tree to focus on work that really makes a difference.  She keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly - and, when not doing that, can usually be found tap dancing, walking, playing tennis, or heading home to Scotland for a dose of family and scenery. 

ANDY BRAVERY

TECHNICAL GENIUS​

Andy is our technical advisor, helping us select and exploit the best tools & technologies to run the operations of our non-profit.
He has recently retired after 33 years in the IT industry as a technical architect & consultant with Salesforce & IBM, but was so inspired by JUST ONE Tree that he's sticking with us! Andy loves the outdoors, is a keen hill walker and a Duke of Edinburgh Award Expedition assessor.

SUE BRONKHORST

SCHOOLS
​CAMPAIGN MANAGER

Sue was formerly a garden designer and still enjoys gardening.  She loves nature and wildlife and keeps a weekly count of the varied birds and animals, including Munjac deers, that regularly visit her garden.  She loves her work as a volunteer for JUST ONE Tree, but as a keen golfer she will often be found out on the golf course, enjoying the scenery and winning trophies!

JANE GRAHAM

UNIVERSITY & COLLEGES CAMPAIGN MANAGER

Jane works closely with Sue on our educational programmes. She's passionate about engaging the next generation to tackle climate change. When she’s not volunteering for us, she's working on designing and styling peoples living spaces. She loves getting outdoors as much as possible kick-starting with a morning walk with her dog and whenever she can, Jane enjoys escaping to her paradise in the Scottish Highlands.

Sarah has been working in the education sector for seven years and is currently teaching in a London school. She has the biggest heart, an infectious smile and the most heavenly singing voice. Outside of the classroom she’s passionate about walking amongst woodlands and hiking up mountains. 

ELIZABETH HUDSON

OUR SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Elizabeth is our secondary school connoisseur.  
She taught geography for six years and loves nothing more than working with the next generations to help them understand the world they live in.  When not devising new teaching activities or lesson ideas, you can find her photographing local beauty spots or out running in the hills of her beloved Peak District. ​

ROSIE BENSLEY

Rosie worked in Business Development & Marketing in Westminster until she had a higher calling to set up her own charity helping vulnerable young people improve their lives through equine assisted therapy and education programmes. SLTH is now London's leading Equine Therapy centre helping over 500 young people per year. Her love for the outdoors and advising JUST ONE Tree has meant meetings are normally held on country walks or on horseback.

Neil was a partner in the Audit & Assurance practice of Deloitte in London until 2018.  Despite being retired, he remains busy as a trustee of a number of charities, a school and college governor and mentor to 6th form and university students as well as social business entrepreneurs helping to make the world a better place. 

NICHOLAS LUDER

POLICY ADVISOR

Nicholas has joined JUST ONE Tree as a policy adviser, helping us make sure all that should be in place is indeed so.
He has a varied background with a principle career in finance - currently working for Credit Suisse,
​but with further experience with small businesses and charities in both a consultant and executive roles.
